With all the posts about FAST Intakes, anyone got the LS6 at a good price? Looking for one right now. Thanks.

I'm planning to do a cam install soon, so I've been looking around for an LS6 intake. The best price I can find is $389.45 at http://www.gmpartsdirect.com The part number is 88894339.

Note that the intake comes with some gaskets and seals. I'm not sure if other suppliers include these parts in their price.

Please post if you find it cheaper.

You have to watch out for GM Parts direct. They have killer prices, but they absolutely bend you over on the handling fees. I dont have any need for a LS6 intake, but I checked the price for you and its indeed $389.45, but total with "handling" is $429.40 and if you live in NC, its $456.66.

SLP sells them for $399 with everything included, and that's they're normal price.

Is the SLP intake the same as the stock GM LS6 intake? I know SLP made parts for some of GM's special addition cars, but I wasn't sure if their intake was the same as GM's stock LS6 intake.

It's the same. That price includes the intake gaskets, coolant line, coolant plugs, everything you need. They sell it to the public for the same price as they sell it to other sponsors, so obviously the sponsors then increase the price. Nothing wrong with that, just if you go to the source you save money. It's the cheapest price you'll find on it new.
