I actually cut mine, then took em to my friend mr 8 inch grinder and flattened the tops of them, and then put radiator hose on em, thick thick *** stuff. I removed the seats and as i said cut the spring. Dead silent because there was no metal on metal, and the radiator hose held up for 2 years before any metal started to show and it BARELY started to show, if you want em just to try, you can get em from me, they are of no use to me any longer. if they dont workout let me have em back because im sure someone some day will want em. pm me if youre interested.

Billingsley Racing sells a shorter and smaller diameter spring with a nicer rate. They are really inexpensive, maybe $60 for the pair. They have different lengths and rates. Harlan has a set on his and I have a set as well.
