BFG KDW vs. Nitto NT555
anyone have experiences with the nitto nt555's and the BFG KDW which is better. I love the Nittos but i can get a great deal on the BFG's for 180 per tire mounted ballanced and road hazard from costco for 275/40/17's. I'm on my second pair of nittos and i love them but maybe its time for a change

nittos suck if u ask me, i have 275s back, and i really dont care for them that much to tell you the truth, in my older car i would get a better grip on the eagleF1s than these...i spin trough 1st and 2nd....no traction, and they are fiarrrrrrly new

I you are talking about the BFG g-force t/a KDW they are a standard radial and the nittos are a drag radial. Do you speak of the standard radial BFG or the drag radials?
I ran the g-force T/A KDW's all around when I first got the car and up front until this year. It's a great tire. Handles well, lasts relatively long and is great in the rain. I went to nittos out back before getting my converter and never looked back. If you are making this comparison stick with the nittos if you want traction and the BFG's for treadlife.
If you are comparing the nittos and the BFG drag radials stick with the nittos. They hook nearly as well when you heat them (plenty of stick for an M6 on 10 bolt), last longer and handle rain better.

have the kd's not the kdw. Amazing tire! Handeling and traction are very good. However the road noise is exceptionally loud but mine are a low profile version at 245/40/17. I got a sweet deal on them and couldn't resist. $200 bills with no use! I would buy them again but only larger.
