Default Is there an Oil Pressure sensor on the LS Engine?

That I can connect up to my standard Oil pressure gauge - not sure a Vette (LS6 - but I don't think that matters) has a gauge (maybe just a warning light?) - I have a proper gauge and need to know the feed for this. Can I connect into this point (where ever it might be) to the electic gauge.

If not an oil sensor on the std engine where can I attache one?

They have a gauge not a light. All of my LS1 cars have had a gauge. The sensor is behind the intake where they have been forever. Same spot

do you see the black thing with the green connector on top of it (back of engine bay) that is the oil pressure sending unit...it relays pressure to the gauge inside the car it is second from the left...

Thanks guys - is there a sensor built in there or do I have to put the sensor onto that point and connect it to my gauge?

Cheers
Jon
