Dry Shot Question???
I'm considering the nitrous halo kit but I have one major concern… Is the stock MAF good enough to make the adjustments in fuel to keep up with a dry shot? Do I risk running lean at the begin of a shot?

The STOCK MAF is PLENTY good enough, as long as the jet is proper (in a halo kit, they are set up in a great way). IF you experience a lean spike, it won't be long enough to hurt ANYTHING. My car (although it's a ford), as well as two other LS1's that I have witnessed, actually experience a RICH condition. THAT'S just how damn good the MAF sensors are!

Im not using a Halo kit, but a single nozzle dry kit.
My experiance: Dry 125 shot, my MAF goes to 80% and im spiking 10.8:1 A/F then leveling off at 11.1:1 at higher rpms. Next time i get ahold of the wide band im going to start doing testing with a 150, and see how it does. Who knows, with a 150 shot my MAF could go to 100% and i could go even more rich, its hard to say, and im not going to just guess or hope.
All cars are different, but thats what mine does.
