Fried PCM
I was tuning a buddies 98 ls1 car on the dyno today using hptuners and after the last flas of the day the car would not start.
The vcm write completed and after the write we proceeded to start the vehichle and it would not start.
Hptuners could not connect to the vcm or request voltage and kept stating (vcm not found). Swapped my brothers vcm into the computer and it started right up. I than re-uploaded his last file flash and it fixed it voila.
Now on to my problem, can the pcm I have now that came out of this car be fixed through hptuners or the dealer? Or Do I have to buy a new pcm?
If so does anyone have a left over 98 pcm in good order?

try putting it back in and connecting again... see if you can connect w/the scanner
There's been a few times I've read where the fix was to discon the battery for 10 minutes and then it worked fine
