Default How long is a Spec 3 carbon supposed to last?

I have had mine for 25K miles or VERY abusive driving and it still grips like a ****!

Is that normal? It has never slipped once. I did however use my own pressure plate vs the Spec PP. Would that have anything to do with it?

I am going to take it apart soon and check it out.

If its your daily driver and you aren't planning on adding a lot of power any time soon then go with the S2....it will be a lot more friendly on the street.

Just shoot SPEC an e-mail and they will answer your questions....just give them about how much power you have, weight of your car, and how you intend to drive it.

I used a borg and beck PP, at the time the SPEC clutch sets were still using the modifued stockers that were popping left and right. This set up gripped perfectly with 550+ft lbs hitting it and still never skipped a beat. Has this weird growning type chatter in the mornings when it;s cold but goes away quickly.
