I recently started to hear a loud whine noise from the rear area, I belive its the fuel pump. Goes away when I get on the gas at all, real loud at idle. This has only happened twice now and always goes away after a few miles/minutes. Also no performance or driveability issues. Has 62,000 miles on it, I belive original pump. (bought it used at 57,000) Sound like pump taking a dump? Thanks

Yes it sounds like the pump is on its way out. Might think of a upgraded pump when it comes time to replace. I just installed a racetronix setup, full plug and play with no problems.
