Default Anyone ever put 5" weld's upfont? I'm having problems

I got some brand new weld pro stars to use for my car, I thought that they were 5.5x15 but i looked on jegs web site and they only show a 5.0x15 so i guess thats what i have. they are definitley a 4.75 lug pattern, i got the 5/16" spacers and these damn things will just not fit.

am i doing something wrong or will these 5" weld prostars just not work on the ls1 fbodys?

btw, i really wanted 5's up front because i wanna keep them on full time, i dont drive the car much, but i dont really wanna drive around with 3.0's or 3.5's upfront all the time.

thanks in advance to anyone that can help me.

I don't think there's any way to fit those on it. You wouldn't have any caliper left after the amount of grinding it would take to fit them. I did one of my calipers today for my 15x3.5's. Your best bet would be to sell them and get 3.5's or get Centerlines or Bogart's if you don't want to grind or run spacers.

they wont fit havoc. the 3.5" are the way to go. the 5" creates too much offset. even with major grinding (which i wouldnt do) they will give you trouble.

5s will never fit over the stock brakes. The 3.5s are almost touching the calipers, even with spacers.
