I have a 99 Z28. My problem is that in 99, they changed from metal to plastic in 99, and 99's have one or the other. I will crawl under the car tomorrow just to make sure which one, but is there any other way to tell? VIN# to track production date or parts? Thunder has a great sale on the Racetronix system right now, and I'm jumping all over it tomorrow.

If you have a 99 it should be a plastic tank. Metal were only in 98.

I have a 99 Z28 also and it was a plastic tank. I did the Racetronix fuel pump and wiring harness install last weekend on it.
