Default Centerforce Dual Friction Question!

Alright, I'm looking into getting a centerforce dual friction clutch, but I was wondering what are the kind of torque ratings and how hard of driving is it? I've seen someone say better driving than the spec 3 and holds the power better....opinions.

I liked my centerforce in my 91 camaro but i've read that the centerforce isn't that great behind the ls1. The spec has been having problems as of late and really seem like a hit or miss. If i were you i would either go with a ram power grip / HD or the new Ozzy clutch(textrila).

Stay away from centerforce, they are awesome Mustang clutches, or so I've heard, but the LS1 model sucks. It won't allow you to shift past around 6k, the RPM's have to drop before it will allow you to shift.

I have drove many of them that shift at 7,600 RPM. I have one in the shop that shifts with no problem at 7,300 RPM, car makes 560 rwhp.

hmm, all of the ones I have driven were crap... maybe it was an older model compared to a newer, updated model??

Mine wouldn't let me run it past 5. I had to put a adjustable master cyl in mine to get it to work.

Behind an LS1?

I know of one person that had one (3 yrs ago)and he ended up pulling it out because of the high RPM shifting problem. They may work now, but they have a bad reputation in the LS1 community.
