Default torque wrenches

hey everyone just looking for some info on torque wrenches. Im looking at the matco and snapon ones, i can get half off so they are both around the same price $105-$110. They both have one thats 10-100 ft lbs 3/8 drive and a 1/2 in model 50-250 ft lbs, would that be about right for most jobs and do i even need the 1/2 inch? or should i just get the 3/8's one? Thanks for the help.

Depends on what kind of work your gonna do with them. The 1/2 is nice when you have to torque over 50F ft lbs. The 3/8's are short rachets & the 1/2 is longer & easier to work with.
