Default Air/Fuel Raito @ 14.6:1 Good-Bad????

It seems as if I'm running rich and really going thru gas so i checked my raito with auto tap and got 14.6 : 1 is that high, low or just right?

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, that is a perfect mix. Isn't that correct? Can anybody confirm or deny this?

The a/f ratio you see in AutoTap is the -commanded- air fuel ratio. There's absolutely no guarantee that is what the motor is actually running. If your engine is entirely stock, then the commanded a/f ratio shown by the PCM will be reasonably close to actual, but any modifications will skew the true value from the one being returned from a table in the PCM.

In order to accurately determine your true a/f ratio, you'll need a wideband O2 sensor.
