Hp limit of scat 9000 series crank?
was doing a bit of thinking on future plans for my camaro and was wondering how much power a scat 9000 crank will hold? I know scat rates it at 600 but i thought i remembered hearing that they will actually hold alot more.

I've never seen a crank break. I've seen some stock cranks take a crazy amount of power. I would have no problem using one of those for a street build. If you're looking to make BIG power, you're probably spending BIG money on heads/intake/valvetrain, etc...So why would you not use a good Forged crank for a couple hundred bucks more?
Or are you planning to hose a budget engine generously? If so I tip my hat to ya. hahaha

FM just built a forged motor for me using the stock GM crank, which is good to 700-800 hp. If that's not good enough, call scat, W2W, FM, etc with your question.
