The paste I've had experience with didn't make me too happy and it was a big name brand company's paste, won't use it again. It still hadn't dried after a month or so and was leaking. I'll stick with the tape, even though it "can clog your solenoids and nozzles." Put it on right and that won't be a problem.

If teflon paste can not be found you can use red loctite. Just make sure when you put the parts together you tighten properly. Once dried its hard to retighten. Also when its time to pull the parts apart you will a little heat.

I went to the auto part store today and couldnt find it, what name does it go by? If I still cant find it then I'll use lock tight, I already have the blue kind, Can I use that instead of the red

instead of red loctite (which is pretty hard to get off) could you use the blue (i think its blue) or whatever color the less-permanent stuff is. would that work okay?
