Friend of mine has a pretty much stock 350 with edelbrock manifold, supercomp headers. What would be simular to a TR224/224 .561/.561 112lsa LS1 cam?
Its a 3 speed auto and looking to make the most hp with stock heads n/a while being able to drive around without problems. Hes getting a new carb also would a 600 still be good?

I'd stay below .500 lift with a roller cam and below .480 lift with a hydraulic cam. I used a crane hydraulic .467 lift / 222 duration @ .050 grind in a 355 with world products sportman heads, a weiand dual-plane intake and 650 carb in the Nova early on and it pulled to about 5800 rpm and ran low 13s. Depending on the car, trans and rear combo he's looking to use this in, a 600/650 double pumper or 750 vac. secondary carb would work nicely.

i'm with villain,.450-480 with a moderate 350.good torque and decent hp.i recomend a barry grant road demon carb tho over a holley. i got a bg and will never go back to a cast body holley again.i reccomend a 650 cfm also, room for improvement which is likely and still decent signal. if he don't have a intake yet get a performer air gap if rpms stay around 6k or less or rpm air gap if 6.5 k is desired.
