Default What trans cooler with t-400?

The t-400 will be going in any day now..I am worried about heat though. My buddy has the same trans with the same stall (3800 TCi converter) and he was saying his temperature was going over 215 with his trans cooler. What type of cooler would keep it between 175-180 degrees? I have seen Perma Cool trans coolers that go as big 10.5" x 21". But then those will cover up to much of the radiator. Will I need that big of a trans cooler?

mine goes a little over 215 also. i'm kinda worried about when it starts to get 100' weather. I got the 29,200 GVW M&M one. The biggest one they make. it covers about half of my radiator and affect engine temps quite a bit. But i have a non lockk up 8" 4600 so i knew it was gonna get pretty warm.
But thats just when i get on it alot. mostly just driving around its about 165 - 200 depending on the time of day.

Were did you buy that 29k B&M from? I dont think any sponsors have them. I checked Summit, but they only list their sizes. The largest B&M they have listed on their website is 11"x11" and 1/2" thick. Is that the one? Thanks
