98 sending unit in 99+ tank

Default 98 sending unit in 99+ tank

i'm going to be switching to a 99+ plastic fuel tank, will i be able to use my 98's sending unit/pump, or will i need to get that as well with the new tank? i've done some looking and can't find anything, any help would be appreciated

The sender will work...Im using a 98 sending unit with my sumped tank...My car is an 01 though. I just took apart the connector on some of the pins that i wasnt using...the intank pump setup mainly and it works fine.
