im getting my 12 bolt soon from strange.(ya right) anyway i was wondering if any of u guys that really race ur car hard with a posi went with heavier springs or not. They recommend 400pd springs for street and strip 600 if more strip and 800 if full race. i drive car on street but really need it to hook up at track. any info anybody has would b greatly appreciated.

There's 400# std. springs and 800# h.d. springs.....no 600#. I had the 800# springs in mine. The clutches chattered a tiny bit going slow around corners but it's hardly noticeable.

i have 800 in mine, but havent drivin it yet, waiting on the driveshaft
