i dont think you HAVE to.. it would be more responsive im sure if you went to .73's or 4.xx's

I wouldnt put just 3.73's in though cause thats not a big increase to justify the cash....

im running the 3.42's with the F11 in my A4 and its very tame on the street down low.. better than I expected! FYI, i had the 224/224 .563 114 cam and this F11 cam kicks that ones azz in all around driving and performance wise! I was expecting the car to idle worse since it was a bigger cam, but it actaully idles better(more stable idle). If I did it over, i'd get the F13 on 114 for mine after seeing the F11 lol.. good luck man.. your car will be fine with the 3.42's

Thanks for the reply. Thats what I wanted to hear. How well did it do in the 1/4 mile?? did you notice any low end lost? the f11 sounds like what I want.

You should have no problems running 3.42's with the FM11.

I run the F12 with 3.42's. It drives fine. You would benefit from gears but it is not a necessity. No one seems to have the F12 but it rocks. Tons of midrange, which is perfect for the street, and great top end.
