I finally got it hooked up after 2 days of trial and error i got a Kicker 12" CVR premounted in a box from kicker (400 RMS, 800 Peak) hooked to a pioneer amp 760W 380x1 it hits hard and sounds so clean it even sounds better than the JL audio i listen to, i have too crack my windows because the pressure makes my head want to explode! i love it and wouldn't take any other brand over it and thanks to everyone that give me advice on how to hook it up.

Congrats. Ya JL's can hit hard, but I don't think they sound clean.

ya the ones i listen to hit hard but the clarity wasn't all that great

JLs and Kicker sound alot like to me. Both are very loose and very loud.

I got a pair of 10" Alpine Type-R's rated at 1000W max each and they hit damn hard and real clean. The JL's hit harder but they didn't sound as great. Congrats on the system.
