Took the GT that beat me 2 weeks ago
Got my first LS1 a month ago.. have been to the track three times. Lost to a Stang GT on my 2nd run (not sure what year, 98 I think, he had headers, exh, heads, and a cam.. its a manual) I'm a stock a4 (for now).. first time I went.. he got me 13.95 to 14.23... I realise I'm a fool because I let of before the 2nd set of comes... (trap of 70.6 MPH).... after reading a bit.. realixed he should take me off the line... I should pass him soon enough!.... I did the free mods (egr cut, free ram air, descreened) Ran him twice today.. took him by .03 both times! After the 2nd time he said it was too hot outside, and he was done running for the night. (I love it!!) it was about 60 degrees out the first night, he wasn't there the 2nd night, and it was 85 degrees today... first run... 13.984@98.95 to his 14.014@98.46....... 2nd run... 14.078@98.71 vs. his 14.10@98.90.........Seeing as my 2 goals for tonight were to run in the 13's.... and get my revenge against the one car that beat me........ I am a happy guy.... I was hoping for a better time.. but being 25 degrees warmer... I'll take what I got. Lid will be on in a few days.. and a magnaflow cat-back should be done within a week or 2..... then I'm thinking a 100-125 shot of N2O and hopefully 12 sec range here we come!
Only question to you all, how much of a time difference do you think the temp would make? I was hoping for a 13.7..... would 25 degrees equal 2/10ths?

The 1/8 slips has a middle section, which isn't on the 1/4 slips, that said ET@594ft--8.273. wneh I ran a 8.847.... someone told me that was supposed to give you an idea what you would run at sea level.

just need to do more boltons and a lot more reading on here before u go spraying.. my lid/cutout z28 a4 with stock stall and gears went 12.80... and then 11's at 122.x on the gas.. just read and learn different things that are sure to help u along.

Seems to me your numbers are a little low, especially the mph.
Could be your elevation at that track though???
My stone stock 00SS ran 8.5@84 in the 1/8 with a 2.0 60ft,just think you could have some more mph in that LS1 yet.
Good luck ,Dave
