Default Does anyone have pics of the home made lifter tool?

just looking for some pics of the tool, can't really understand it from what i've read, also home depot was out of 5/16 round rod so i bought a 5/16 threaded, would this work?

also would a 1/4 round rod work, slightly smaller so it might fit better but i would like to make sure the rod is thick enough to hold the lifters in place.

ypu could use the 5/16 dowl rods. that is what i used and they worked great.
