8 1/2 - 9 quarts...i think i put 1 in the tc and between 7 and eight in when finished( i had the 2 gallon thing of amsoil + two quart containers, couldn't tell exactly......)

Default fluid amount

Depends of size of converter, stock calls for 12qt, I have a 10 inch converter and it took 9qt to fill.
