I did the the ARP Pro series. It said to put the thread lube on and torque to 40 lb/ft 3 times. The 3rd time being the final tightening.

I could be wrong, but I thought the torque spec for the standard ARP rod bolts was 50 ft-lbs. I know that's what my Katech rod bolts were supposed to be.

Rod part Number 243-6301
For LS1 Pro (Cracked Rod)
APR recommends using the STRETCH METHOD for Torquing bolts. Stretch bolts to .0062 .0066
If you do not have a stretch guide, follow these steps using the ARP moly assembly lube.
After rods are installed into the motor, torque bolts to 40 ft. lbs loosen the bolts. Torque ti 40ft lbs again. Loosen the bolts and torque to 40ft lbs a 3rd and final time.
Copied it right off my sheet.
