Would there be inything wrong with running a huge head gasket like a .080 size?
If I toss on a set of LQ9 heads and a .080 head gasket it takes me to around 9:1 compression.
Is there any negative in using a thich gasket to lower compression?
You also better your chances of blowing the gasket because it is so much thicker. Deffinatlly not the route I'd go with forced induction. Also, like predator said, quench would be off which would increase you chances of detonation.
