I just had a quick question. Does a 2000 SS have a rev limiter? This would be handy to know.

To my knowledge all camaro's have a rev limiter from the factory...

The rev limiter (and the speed limiter) can be changed with PCM-editing software. I think the stock setting for the rev limiter is 6200rpm.
