Paint gun nozzle question
Where do you buy paint gun replacement nozzle tips? I have a hvlp gun from harbor freight with a 1.4 tip and I want to spray primer. I need like a 1.6/1.7 nozzle tip. Do you know any vendors that sell nozzles or do painters just use different guns for each stage?

I have a different gun for different stages. I highly doubt you will be able to get any parts for your gun. That is the problem with cheap guns the parts are not available. If any place is going to have parts it would be harbor freight.

I too have different guns for different types of paints. The only guns that have interchangable nozzels are the high end ones like Sata. Besides you can spray a regular primer through a 1.4 mm tip no problem.

I spray Marhyde High Build Gray through a 1.4 mm and just thin it a bit more and it goes on really nice. I have a 2.2 mm for gelcoat and tried spraying primer with that and it goes on like crap. My Binks M1G I keep only for bases and clears and I have a cheapo gun for primers.
