NC Non-Resident Temp. Tags? Do any of you NC members know if the state will issue a non-resident temp. tag to allow for the transportation of the vehicle out of state after sale? Im trying to completely wrap up all my bases as I'm moving closer to making a purchase and need to know how I can legally get the car back to Maryland. Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks all!

Cool, how did you get it? Was it through a dealer? Go to their DMV and do it in person, over the phone or online? Maryland makes a pain in the ***.

I tried searching the DMV site but couldnt find anything. If nothing else, call the DMV and see what their process is. I'd assume you could go down to the DMV and get temp tags once the original plates have been turned into their office.
