My Favorite is the Pioneer DEH-6700 or DEH-670P. Great amount of features for a good price. It's my favorite for a Cheaper deck. After that my tastes get expensive.

Pioneer is good, I prefer Alpine. Unfortunatly this year they down-graded there HU's and the only one worth getting from them now is there high end models. I would go for a nice mid-high range one form last years model.

I agree with what is said above. The Pioneer 6700/670 is a GREAT deck for what you pay for it. I have the 6400 in my daily driver and couldn't be happier with it. It's easy to use, sound good, looks great, and has been dead reliable. For that price range I'd only mess with a Pioneer. If you want a good Alpine, Kenwood, etc., it's going to cost a little more.
