Default problems after gears??

was just curious, i just did a 3.73 swap in my 02 A4 a little while back, and im having 2 problems. one, is at WOT(and only when done from a stop or SLOW roll) it bounces off the rev limiter 3-5 times on the 2-3 shift. second, i cant seem to find the "aggressive" kickdown spot(used to be just under 30). now it doesnt seem to exist??????

anyone else have these problems, or similar? ive had the speedo recalibrated and thats it. is the problem the shift points needing to be changed, maybe?

thanks in advance,
anthony

You're going to have to get your shift points changed. No way around it.

I had Motive 3.73's installed in my car. I'm having the same problem. I have read in other threads, people say the computer has to have the mph lowered a little for 2-3 shift. Goona bring mine to a dealer I think

Yes, you will need to adjust your shift points. No other posts needed. Either need to take it to a tuner, buy HP Tuners - EFI Live - or equiv., or buy Predator - Hypertech tuner etc. No other way to fix your rev limit problem. It won't cost much for a tuning shop to fix it............
