Just changed my oil and the oil i drained out smelled like it had gas in it. And seemed awfully dark for only 1000 miles use. I was switching from conventional oil to mobile 1 full synthetic. Just wanted to know if this was normal. I know ls1's tend to have quite a bit of blow-by especially when cold. Just need to know if this is a problem. Thanks.

I think you'd have to run a compression test to understand it better???
