well yeah i signed up for ls1tech the first day i got my SS since the first day i got it a friend of mine with a red z28 (headers, flowmasters, lid, diablosport chip, automatic) always nagged about how much faster he was than SS's. finally after getting my magnaflow catback and lid we went and raced twice.


first race 50 mph roll :S (thats what he wanted) took him by 2 cars in the 1/4...

second race 15 mph roll, 3 honks we go at it, he stays with me til 3rd gear, i walk away with a 1 1/2 lead...

i was quite impressed with myself haha..i thought for sure he'd win with all the crap he has so i guess it all came down to the driver

Nice kill. I dont see how it was such a beating though. From the sound of things yall should have near on teh same hp if not him havein a little more and there is no benifit in weight to either of the cars. GJ man

its prob cause he is a a4 and your a m6, you have the advantage on a roll. if he ever gets a converter you should race him again from a roll and see the difference. by the way what year is your car and your friends?

all that he has over you is the headers, and the slowmaster is taking away HP, the only reason you won was the M6, and the fact that you have ram air

if he didnt have the crap master and had something that actually flows it probably wouldnt have been in your favor. the first race wasnt the best spot for the stock auto but thats his fault not yours. Good kill btw
