Default wideband vs o2 voltage results

I made a plot of o2 voltage vs wideband reading in excel and here are the results. This was done with an lm-1 with hptuners eio.

So does this mean that reading 02 voltage is nearly the same as wideband readings? If so then there is alot of misinformation out there because most tuners say that o2 voltage is a waste.

What this chart is showing is that between the AFR ranges of 12 through 14, there is about a 300-400mv difference in O2's..

Meaning the wide band AFR results are much more accurate.

The chart also shows that a 13 AFR and a 14 AFR will result in very similar O2 mv's. What that says is if you have an O2 mv within that range, you don't know if its 13.0 AFR or 14.0 AFR.

Thats odd. I tune for just under 900mv and its never shown up anywhere near 14 afr. I'm assuming this was collected at pt throttle driving?

This is a mix of part throttle and wide open throttle. Your o2 voltages will vary because of header design and stuff like that. You can draw your own conclusions, but i say this is a good reason to not tune with narrowband o2 sensors.
