What can I do to strengthen my 10 bolt
As you can see I have a truck and a HEAVY one at that. I will soon be installing a 450hp 6L with a 150-175 shot on it and the rear Im sure is not up to the task. I have an eaton locker and a t/a aluminum diff cover with bearing cap preloaders. Is there anything else I can do to strengthen it further. I already have the tranny taken care of and I dont want to ahve any other problems I figure it is cheaper to fix it before it gets broken then when it breaks and takes out my 400$ lsd and f's up my diff cover.
Thanks, Cody

You "can" buy axles/unit/etc to beef it up, but the problem will always be in the R&P in those rears. They're just not beefy enough. IMO I wouldn't spend another dime on that 10blt.
If you're not going to be doing any type of crazy off-roading I would suggest finding a 12blt and building that with some good axles. That should be find for the street.
If you ARE planing on doing some crazy off-roading, I would suggest a 14bltFF and getting rid of that IFS in the front.
Long story short, just like everyone else here will tell you, don't spend any $$$ in that 10blt...
