Default hydraulic fluid? Transmission Questions

What kind of fluid to put in master cylinder. Also how do I drain? I'm finishing up my A4 to M6 conversion, and want to make sure that hydraulic fluid is good, clean and bubble free.

Also Right now I have pedals installed, master cylinder (Have slave, but don't have hooked up at moment) I have the manual flywheel in car, and Pressureplate/clutch installed. No transmission. If I start car right now, will anything bad happen? Sorry to be dumb, I just don't know.

Brake fluid is most commonly used for clutches. You should be ok to start it. Why do you want to?

I would be concerned about starting the engine without careful support at the rear. With the trans absent there is no "Third" mount for the engine.

Alright. I've actually just decided to wait 'til I get transmission in. I just HOPE everything goes smooth. I Just have to figure out exactly where to wire this reverse lockout and I'm good to go.
