Default 160 t-stat part number for meziere elec water pump?

What's the part number for the 160 t-stat for the meziere pumps? I know they say to use an old school 350 t-stat, but does it matter from what year, or are they all the same?

I would also like to know. I have tried numerous brand thermostats from napa, autozone, & advanced & none of them fit inside the pump like the install pictures show. Ive read just about every threat using the "search" option and tried the part # 3008 & the 54mm thermostat with no luck. The only thing I have not tried was the Hypertech thermostat. Im gonna try the one I have from Autozone anyway & and see what happens.

I just went to kragen and got a sbc 160 thermostat and a generic chrome water neck. I had to use some silicone to get it to seal properly. You need to drill it. All the old sbc motors use the same style thermostat. Sorry I don't have a specific part number. I also had to widen the holes on the nect to line up with the pump threads.

strokedls1,

did the thermostat fit inside the water pump? What was wrong with the stock neck that you couldn't reuse it?
