Default How to check if PCM is Auto or Manual?

Is there a way of checking if the PCM is from a manual or auto car by its P/N or can you only tell when you go thru the setup/values?

This is from a purchased engine, computer and harness deal.

I'm not aware of any way to tell from the outside of hte PCM... the PCMs are the same for auto or manual... just the code is different...

When you connect with flashscan it will show you what engine/trans combo it is , not really a issue as they are the same PCM and code just different calibrations between different autos and manual.
