Not The Right Area For This Question....
but im tryin to wire up a couple switches, gauges, ect. how is everyone going about running these various power sources? i had 4 switches running fine off of the ignition out from the fuse box, then i added my trans temp gauge, and the 10amp fuse in the box kept popping, i guess im over the limit in amperage. ANYWAYS..i figured the stereo/electronics area would not give any results with this question, but alot of you guys know whats up and have been here before....thanks agian....tom

Are you able to tap off the battery post with an in-line fuse?
If not, there must be a couple ports in the fuse panel that have battery
power. Always use a fuse if you tap from a battery terminal in the fuse panel.
Don't squeeze too much from a single circuit, or you may risk melting some
insulation. I think the wiring is 18 AWG, which should handle 20 amps @ 12-14 volts easily.
I woudln't recommend more than 10 amps from a tapped circuit, or 20 amps
from a battery port.
Split up the source if your gauges draw lots of current, or see about running
a line to the battery.
