look on www.richmondgear.com and click on gear and transmission calculator. th400 w/ 5200 stall converter will not be 1:1 in high gear, too much stall. i think you will be fine 3400#'s ?, 430 hp 4.11 gear my guess 11.60's @ 120

I say your gona be on the limiter. Thats a lot of stall and a lot of gear for an automatic. Run it 1/8th mile and see what happens.

i take it this isnt a daily driver?? 5200stall with those tires definatly wont help you off the line, especially with 4.10's behind it

Yeah that might do it I dont think you will run out of gear spinning at 6500RPM with 28's. Well actually, what do you trap in the 1/4 now??

well now, thats a good question. I have been trapping 117-118. Lately my mph has steadily dropped to 111-113. I have no clue, nothing has changed on the car, maybe its the weather, Im really not sure. Im thinking with 26" I will run outta gear but with 28" Ill be fine.

Yeah i think with the gearing at 4.11 and 28" tires on the TH400 you should be ok to about 125-130 give or take

Well I have 16" salad shooters right now. If Im gonna buy new tires, I want to have 15x10 draglites to match my 15x3.5s on the front. I dont have time to grind down my rear calipers but a friend of mine may still have his grounded down calipers lying around. I need to get all of this done by the August 6th race in Bowling Green...

AHH not enough time
