Default exhaust question

right now i have mac mids with carsound cats and a single chamber flowmaster in place of the stock muffler in that same location of the stock muffler with a turndown after the muffler. i am wondering if i would be any louder if i were to put a hooker muffler in place of the single chamber flowmaster. i dont want to do true duals or anything like that.just want to replace the muffler. i am getting an offroad y pipe in about a week or two.... anybody's info would be greatly appreciated....

I am unsure on the volume of a single chamber flowmaster (am pretty sure it's loud), but I can still practically gurantee you the Hooker catback (or the same muffler that the hooker catback uses) will be quieter.
