What name brand car alarm are you guys going with. I was thinking about going with the CompuStar.

Personally I have the Viper 791XV, and I have been pretty happy with it. I bought it for the two-way remotes. I figure since I have a conceal and carry, if it goes off maybe I can catch a thieving bastard!!! (I HATE THIEVES!!!) My only problem with iit is that the remotes are not very strudy (and expensive), so if you are rough with your keys you may want to consider something else.

I have never tried a CompuStar

I agree totally with rebel. The only problem I have with the viper is the remote.

The CompuStar remotes are fairly heavy duty. Check out the link below. CompuStar heas the newest technology out. Viper, Clifford and all the rest of them are all the same thing.
