Default Installing 4.10's

What's up guys! My Motive 4.10 gears have arrived.I have a 2001 SS M6 w/ traction control. Is there anything I need to do or buy other than fluids to make the installation simple. Any comments or ideas? Thanx!

a impact gun helps alot. if you dont have one go buy 1. remember to take the abs sensors off the rear so u can push the axles in enuff to get the keepers out. my uncle (heymoej) and i have been gettin pretty quick with gear changes. about 2 hrs and your ready to roll.

I'd also recommend a rear end girdle.

Not sure about the torsen posi, but on the others you can just remove the pin in the center of the unit and push the axles towards the inside and the c-clips will just fall right out. Just make sure to get your backlash and tooth pattern correct or you might as well be throwing your money away. Not sure if you have purchased a gear install kit or not but you will need one of those, or at lease the shims and crush sleeve from it if your bearings a races swap ok.
