I was on the highway when I accelerated from 60 to 90 mph when I started to hear a rattle the rattle got worse and worse after I drove it for another 10 minutes got to work parking lot turned off the car and it would not start. The starter would try to engage but the car wouldnt start. So I had the car towed to the house after work and I look under the car and sure enough the Flywheel was broken into 3 pieces.

My only question is why would this happen?

What flywheel do you recommend?

if you drag race, a steel flywheel...
if you raod race, street race, dont race, and alluminum one

My flywheel broke. Not as catastrophically as yours, but speed inc told me it was cracked when they took the tranny out. I have the TCI unit now.
