initial impressions....Fuddle Racing 4500
well I finally got the car buttoned up tonight. the first ride with the fuddle 4500 was impressive to say the least.
when I ordered the converter from John, I told him that I needed 3800 on the foot brake but NO less. and it needed to flash at least 4500. a little more would be ok, but less would not be. it looks like he hit it right on the nose. I set the 2-step to 3800 and took the car out on the street, held the brakes, squeezed the button and matted the pedal. the rpms jumped up, the car pushed forward about 6" and settled against the 2-step at 3800. this was on the street on cold slicks....excellent! when I let off the 2-step, the car incinerated the slicks. I asked for a high str, so now I will have to tune the suspension to make it hook.
as far as driving it goes, it is a little loose. but that is to be expected with a 4500 converter. it drives just fine. and lots of tire smoke is only a flick of the foot away. the real test will come next week at the track with the transbrake.
