Billet Fuel Rail Problems: Fumes and Fittings Seeping
I am running a set of billet fuel rails with braided stainless supply line and crossover line. Since installing them, I have noticed an increase in the smell of gas fumes in the engine bay area. Last night, I started feeling around and noticed that the AN fittings are seeping a very small amount of fuel. The NPT fittings in the ends of the rails were installed with thread sealant and are dry. The seeping feels like it is coming from the "elbow" tubing section of the AN hose ends. I have checked all the fittings and they are tight. Are the fumes and seepage normal for this kind of setup? Any suggestions?

maybe your elbo connector is bad if its leaking some fuel out.

I was also thinking that the hose end may be bad as the seepage is coming from where the 90 degree bent tube enters the AN nut (for lack of better terminology)...the only thing I can't get over is that all three 90 AN hose ends in use are seeping in the same spot.
As for the fumes...I can live with those as my car, too, stinks of exhaust and fuel after the ORY install, but I was more concerned about the seepage right above the headers. So far, it has been more like "sweating" as there is not enough fuel leakage to puddle or drip...it's evaporating fairly fast.
