Default Factory Alarm problems...Need Help

I have a 02 Ta and the factory alarm has been acting weird lately. The car is parked in my garage and sits there locked as well. At times the alarm will start to go off and run for a min or untill I can cut it off w/ remote. It didnt really **** me off untill I was in bed sleeping and it went. Is there a temporary fix To do so I can keep car locked and not have to hear the horn going crazy untill I can get this looked at at a dealership? Thanks

Try locking your doors as you get out with the button on the door... I don't think that arms the alarm.

Thanks for the advice 01Lowboy, will check this out. ewilborn- locking the doors using the door button does activate the alarm. I didnt have a remote when I bought the car so unfortunately I know. It stunk b/c you only have a few sec. once you open the door w/ key to get the ignition key in and turned before the alarm goes crazy.
