Retune after Cam Install???
I'm getting ready to install a new cam in my 2000 LS1 (M6) w/SLP CAI & Lid, 85mm MAF, 160*stat,SLP LTs, and Loudmouth. I got a Predator from SLP, too, and after tuning she pulls harder the closer I get to Rev Limit. It runs and sounds awesome. It dyno'd 335 rwhp @ 5500 and 345 rwtq. My question is that it runs great now, but will the Predator tune need to be modified after the new cam is installed? Since I already have hot tune installed, will the cam take without much tuning fuss, such as struggling to get it to idle? (I guess the M6 helps a lot...)

It really depends on the cam you're planning to put in. If it's something like the TR224 you should be alright with what you have but if it's something fairly aggressive like the TRex you should definitely get it tuned. More like, you will have to get it tuned. Your best bet is to talk to your cam manufacturer and get their input. Or just cut out all the BS and talk to Allan Futral.
