Default Trans Am emblem

I have been noticing a lot of rides that do not have the Trans Am emblems on the sides of both doors. I really like the look, it does look "cleaner." What is the process to remove those emblems without messing up anything? Does this have to be done by a body shop?

Nope just peel them off. hopefully your car has never been re sprayed or else there will be a step in the paint where the letter used to be. Ya know what I mean? They are just held on by double sided 3m tape.

Just use a heat gun, and pop them off. You'll need the heat to peel off left over tape, but the removal is easy.
