Default Just purchased my Hooker..

Aerochamber muffler. I just got it from the local parts shop (Grand Prix Autosports) by itself. I am just leaving my stock tips for now. Cant wait to hear it. Man my new wife will be suprised this Saturday when we leave the church after our wedding. She will be gone Friday so i figured i would work on my car & get it soundin & lookin good. Im also adding chrome Door overlays & front bird. She loves the car & will notice right off. Anyway just though i would share.

Also (1) question. Will this muffler have to be broke in? As in does it get louder as you drive with it more? I have been readin that some of the aftermarket mufflers are like this. Anyone with hooker chime in & let me know.

No the muffler will sound the same as is does when you first install. Also you might want to go to a muffler shop and have them bend you two 2.5" pipes to use as tail pipes the stockers are 2'' and wont fit in the outlet holes. You might run in to problems with the stock I pipe as well, its 2.75" and the inlet to the muffler is 3".

not on the one i bought. And i have looked at my exhaust & it looks bigger than 2.5" but, very well could be. That will be ok though. My muffler is a 2.5" inlet & dual 2.5" outlets.

All the problems I listed for you I had with my flomaster. It was a pain in the *** and when I was done I wished I had just bought the CB Good luck with yours You'll love the sound.
